Woman falls from pickup truck, dies near Macomb
POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, OK – A woman fell from a moving pickup truck and died near Macomb on Sept. 17, according to News 9.
A man was driving a pickup truck north on a country road when the victim, who was sitting on the back window, fell out of the vehicle.
The driver rendered aid to the victim and called 911.
The woman died from her injuries.
Troopers noticed that the driver smelled of alcohol, and there were open alcoholic containers inside the truck.
Authorities arrested the pickup truck driver the next day and accused him of first-degree manslaughter and DUI under the age of 21.
