Troopers investigate single-vehicle crash near Elk City
ELK CITY, OK—According to KOCO, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle collision that occurred on E 1100 Rd near N 1930 Rd on Friday.
An 18-year-old woman was driving a 2012 Buick Lacrosse when she strayed off the road, hit a barbed wire fence, and slammed into a utility pole before going over an embankment and landing in a dry creek bottom around 10 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver and her 19-year-old woman passenger to an area hospital in critical condition.
