Troopers investigate fatal single-vehicle crash on US 271 near Wister
LEFLORE COUNTY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly single-vehicle collision that happened on US 271 west of Wister on Friday, according to KOKH.
A 55-year-old man was driving a 2003 GMC Yukon north on US 271 when he strayed off the right side of the road and overcorrected before rolling over multiple times around 4:30 p.m.
The driver was ejected from the Yukon in the crash.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver dead on the way to an area hospital.
