Troopers investigate deadly semi-truck crash on I-40 in Del City

DEL CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly semi-truck crash that happened at I-40 EB and Scott St on Sunday.

A driver was heading west in the eastbound lanes of I-420 when they hit a semi-truck head-on.

Rescue crews pronounced one person dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
