Troopers investigate deadly semi-truck crash near Oakbrook Village

TULSA, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal three-vehicle collision that happened on I-44 WB near Garnett Rd on Sunday, according to KTUL.

The incident involved a 2022 Freightliner semi-truck driven by a 37-year-old man, a 2018 Porsche Macan operated by a 74-year-old woman, and a Kia Sportage driven by a 43-year-old man with a 45-year-old passenger. It happened around 10:40 a.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the 74-year-old woman dead at the scene and transported the 43-year-old man to an area hospital with head injuries.

It is unclear what caused the incident.
