Troopers investigate deadly 2-vehicle crash on OK 18 in Meeker
MEEKER, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that happened on OK 18 near E 1070 Rd on Thursday, according to KOCO.
Scott M. Howe, 56, was driving a 2015 Nissan Frontier south on OK-18 when he strayed into oncoming traffic and slammed head-on into a 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by Caleb J. Barbour, 41, around 6:40 a.m.
Barbour was pinned inside the Corolla for around 45 minutes. Rescue crews pronounced Barbour dead at the scene and transported Howe to an area hospital, where he died.
