Tire flies off trailer and slams into SUV, injuring driver on the Turner Tpke near Stroud

STROUD, OK – A tire flew off a trailer and crashed into an SUV on the Turner Tpke, injuring its driver on Wednesday, according to KTUL.

A maroon Ford F-250 was pulling a bumper pull car hauler when a tire came off, bounced over the center barrier and slammed into the woman’s windshield.

Emergency crews extricated the woman from the vehicle and transported her to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. They urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
