Teen hurt following UTV crash near Binger

BINGER, OK – According to KOCO, a teenage boy was hurt following a UTV wreck in a field near Binger on Sunday.

A 13-year-old boy was driving a Polaris Ranger in a field when he hit an uneven area in the pasture, causing the vehicle to overturn around 10:20 a.m. The 15-year-old male passenger was partially ejected from the Ranger and became pinned underneath it.

Rescue crews transported the 15-year-old to an area hospital via Air Evac in critical condition.

Authorities believe speeding played a role in the crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
