Teen driver leads troopers on chase that ends in crash in Catoosa
CATOOSA, OK – A 17-year-old driver led troopers on a chase that ended with four people being hurt in a crash near U.S. Rt. 66 and E Pine St on June 29, according to FOX 23.
The 17-year-old, who police believe to be impaired, was driving a pickup truck with five passengers when a trooper performed a pit maneuver on the truck. The collision caused the truck to stray off the right side of the road before reentering the road and rolling over once, landing on its side.
Rescue crews transported the driver and three passengers to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The trooper was not hurt.
