Semi-truck driver dies following crash with another semi-truck on I-35 near Guthrie
GUTHRIE, OK – A semi-truck driver died in a wreck involving another semi-truck on I-35 near mile marker 156 on Sunday, according to KFOR.
A 70-year-old man was driving a 2022 north on I-35 at around 9 a.m. when he strayed off the right side of the road and collided with an unoccupied 2002 international MA025 truck parked on the outside shoulder.
First responders pronounced the 70-year-old man dead at the scene.
Seatbelts were in use, and the airbags were deployed during the crash.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
