Police pursuit ends with injury collision near Mayview

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -Two people were hurt when a police chase ended with a crash near N May Ave and NW 70th St on Thursday, according to KOCO.

An Officer was taking a report on a stolen vehicle at a fast food restaurant when they spotted a stolen Jeep.

The driver of the stolen Jeep sped off and led the officer on a chase.

The Jeep driver ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle occupied by an elderly couple.

Rescue crews transported the elderly couple to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities arrested the Jeep driver.
