Passenger dies after driver collides with semi-truck on I-35 near Wynnewood
GARVIN COUNTY, OK – According to KOCO, a 17-year-old female passenger died after a driver collided with a semi-truck on I-35 SB near Wynnewood on Monday. ‘
An 18-year-old male from Moore drove a 2016 BMW 528 when he hit a semi-truck around 3:17 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the female passenger from the BMW dead at the scene. They transported the BMW driver to OU Health in Oklahoma City, where he was treated and released.
The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
Officials have not released the victims’s names.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
