Officials release more info regarding fatal crash on S Portland Ave near Guthrie

GUTHRIE, OK – Officials have provided additional details concerning the deadly multi-vehicle collision that occurred on S Portland Ave near W Triplett Rd on Saturday, according to KOCO.

A 2022 Camaro driver hit a northbound Dodge Ram, causing the Camaro to spin counterclockwise. Around 7:30 p.m., the Camaro collided with a northbound Chevy Traverse.

Rescue crews pronounced a 25-year-old passenger from the Camaro dead at the scene and transported four others to an area hospital. They have since been released.

Authorities did not ticket anyone for the collision. The Logan County district attorney may file charges if they find any wrongdoing.
