Officials release more info on UTV crash that killed 2 children in Norman
NORMAN, OK – Officials have released additional details regarding the UTV wreck that claimed the lives of a 2-year-old and an 8-month-year-old in the Canadian River near W Robinson St on June 30, according to News 9.
Two adults and four children occupied the UTV. The two deceased brothers were buckled in approved car seats.
The person driving the UTV hit a deep spot in the Canadian River around 4 p.m., causing the UTV to sink.
Rescue crews pulled the UTV out of the river. The 8-month-old died on June 30, and RJ died on July 2.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
