Officials release more info on deadly crash near El Reno
EL RENO, OK – According to KOKH, officials have released additional details regarding the crash that killed a 5-year-old on I-40 near mile marker 110 on Saturday.
A 29-year-old man was driving a Toyota Tacoma east on I-40 with four passengers when he crashed around 8:05 a.m.
Rescue crews transported a 29-year-old woman, a 5-year-old, and a 5-month-old to an area hospital. The 5-year-old died at the hospital. The 29-year-old and 5-month-old were treated and released.
The driver and a 17-year-old passenger were not hurt in the collision.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
