Officials release additional info on deadly auto vs. pedestrian crash in Okemah

OKEMAH, OK – According to KOKH, officials have provided additional details on the deadly collision that occurred at OK 56 and OK 27 on Tuesday.

A 60-year-old man was driving west on OK 56 when he crossed the center line and strayed off the road before striking a 30-year-old woman around 3 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital, where she died.

Authorities determined the driver was impaired.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
