Officials provide more info on deadly fire truck crash near Greenvale

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials have released additional details concerning the fatal firetruck collision that happened near Melrose Ln and Greenvale Rd on Tuesday, according to FOX 25.

The fire truck driver was responding to an accident when they collided with a car around 8:26 a.m.

The four firefighters that were on the truck were not hurt. They rendered aid to the person inside the car.

Rescue crews transported the car driver to an area hospital, where they died.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating the collision.
