Juvenile driver collides with another vehicle while eluding police in Edmond

EDMOND, OK – According to KOCO, one person was hurt when a juvenile driver fleeing from police collided with another vehicle near W Hurd St and N Fretz Ave on Saturday.

Officers began chasing the driver around Edmond around 1:45 a.m. During the chase, the suspect collided with another vehicle.

Following the collision, the four occupants of the car leading police on the chase exited the vehicle and got on the ground.

One person in the car that was struck suffered minor injuries.

Authorities arrested the driver of the vehicle that was running from police for felony eluding and possession of marijuana. The other three occupants were all juveniles and were cited for violating curfew.
