Hit-and-run suspect arrested for fatal auto vs. bicycle crash near Top of the Town
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities have arrested a man they believe fled the scene after fatally colliding with a bicyclist with his white SUV at SE 15th and South High Ave on Tuesday, according to KOCO.
A witness flagged down officers and told them a white SUV crashed through their fence.
Another witness informed officers that a white SUV was parked at a house around the corner.
Authorities were able to track the SUV to an address and arrested the suspect.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died.
Authorities charged the suspect with leaving the scene of a fatality accident and causing a fatality accident without a valid driver’s license.
