Hit-and-run driver collides with pedestrian on electric scooter in Broken Arrow

BROKEN ARROW, OK – A hit-and-run driver struck a person riding an electric scooter at W Washington St S and S Aspen Ave on Thursday, according to KTUL.

A woman with short gray hair wearing a purple shirt was driving a white vehicle east on Aspen Ave when they hit the victim as they were heading north around 9:45 a.m.

Following the collision, the driver stopped to check on the victim before fleeing the scene.

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Authorities urge the public to contact the Broken Arrow Police Department if they have information about the incident.
