Driver runs stop sign, fatally collides with another vehicle in Osage County
OSAGE COUNTY, OK – One person is dead after a driver ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle at County Road 2625 and State Hwy 99 on Saturday, according to News on 6.
A 30-year-old driver ran the stop sign and crashed into a southbound vehicle driven by a 70-year-old on the front driver’s side around 8 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced a 68-year-old woman from the vehicle that was hit dead at the scene and transported both drivers to area hospitals in critical condition.
Authorities said they smelled alcohol on the 30-year-old driver.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
