Driver hits, injures bicyclist near Johnson Park
TULSA, OK – A driver struck and injured a male bicyclist near S Peoria Ave and E 61st St on Friday, according to FOX 23.
The bicyclist allegedly ran a red light and had no lights on their bicycle when they were hit by the driver around 10 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the bicyclist to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
Crews closed down the area to investigate the incident. Police believe the cyclist was at fault for the collision.
