Driver fatally collides with wall near Hefner Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KOCO, a driver died after hitting a wall on Lake Hefner Pkwy SB near S Lake Hefner Dr on Thursday.

Officials believe the driver may have suffered a medical episode, causing them to swerve off the road and slam into the wall at high speed. Following the collision, the car caught on fire.

The driver was the sole occupant of the car. They died in the cash.

The medical examiner will determine what caused the collision.
