Driver fatally collides with tree on US 259 near Hodgen
LEFLORE COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 23, a female driver died in a single-vehicle collision on US 259, around eight miles south of Hodgen, on Wednesday.
A 72-year-old woman was heading south on US 259 when she strayed off the right side of the road around 6:18 p.m. and slammed into a tree.
Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
