Driver fatally collides with motorcyclist on County St 2990 in Blanchard

BLANCHARD, OK – According to News 9, a driver struck and killed a motorcyclist who was going the wrong way on County St 2990 near 353rd St on Tuesday.

A 20-year-old man was riding a motorcycle north in the southbound lanes of County St 2990 when he crested over the top of the hill and slammed head-on with a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old woman around 6:30 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he died.

The driver was uninjured in the collision. First responders treated the driver’s 31-year-old passenger and released her.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
