Driver fatally collides with concrete barrier near Mayfair West

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver fatally collided with a concrete barrier near I-44 and NW 39th Expy on Saturday, according to KOCO.

Trinity Kitchens, 23, was driving a Jeep Wrangler south on I-44 when she strayed off the road, re-entered the roadway, and strayed off it again before crashing into a concrete barrier and rolling over multiple times. Kitchens was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected 100 feet from the vehicle around 2:20 a.m.

Rescue crews transported Kitchens to an area hospital, where she died. First responders also transported a passenger from the Jeep to the hospital, where they were treated and released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
