Driver dies following single-vehicle crash on OK 97 in Sapulpa

SAPULPA, OK – The Sapulpa Police Department is investigating a deadly single-vehicle collision that occurred on OK 97 between W 86th St S and W 81st S on Thursday, according to News on 6.

The driver collided with multiple construction barriers before their vehicle’s engine caught on fire.

Officials have not identified the deceased person.

It is unclear if impairment or speed were factors in the collision.
