Driver dies after rollover crash off Elm Grove Rd near Muskogee

MUSKOGEE COUNTY, OK – Ohio Highway Patrol troopers responded to a rollover collision last Friday night, August 23, near Muskogee that resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man, reports KOCO.

The accident happened on Elm Grove Road, in an area about 10 miles southeast of the city. It was first reported at around 10:45 p.m.

Officials say the man, a local resident, was operating a pickup truck westbound on the road. At one point, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned.

The male driver, who was not secured by a seatbelt at the time of the wreck, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No other occupants or vehicles appear to have been involved.
