Driver collides with OKHP trooper in southwest Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A driver hit an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper’s vehicle near I-44 and 49th W Ave on Thursday, according to KTUL.

The driver struck another vehicle before colliding with the trooper around 11 a.m.

Following the collision, the driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended.

First responders transported the driver to an area hospital, where they were treated and released into police custody.

There were seven people inside the suspect’s car at the time of the crash. Nobody else was hurt or arrested in the incident.
