OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to KFOR, authorities have filed an arrest warrant for a woman who allegedly fled the scene after fatally colliding with a man on NE 23rd St on March 7.

The suspect was driving east on NE 23rd St when she allegedly hit a man and then took off around midnight.

Another woman witnessed the collision and tried to stop the driver but could not. She pulled over and stopped traffic before calling the police.

The suspect returned home and called her boyfriend before confessing to police. She told authorities she did not stop because she heard her child say “ow” when she struck the victim. She then headed home instead of going to a hospital.
