Authorities arrest alleged hit-and-run driver for Creek County crash
CREEK COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 23, authorities have apprehended the man who allegedly hit a fire department vehicle near 161st W Ave and 465th W Ave before leaving the scene on Friday.
The victim is the assistant fire chief of the Olive Volunteer Fire Department. He was in his truck working a grass fire when the suspect allegedly hit his vehicle around 8 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital. He was released from the hospital on Sunday.
Authorities arrested the suspect on Monday. He is being held in the Creek County Jail.
