Accident closes ramp, reduces northbound I-35 to single lane in Carter County
CARTER COUNTY, OK – Multiple travel lanes were closed on Interstate 35 Tuesday morning near Ardmore, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred on the northbound lanes approaching U.S. Route 70 and was first reported by ODOT at 8:11 a.m.
Local officials have not released any updates indicating the events leading up to the wreck.
Because northbound travel was reduced to just a single lane on Interstate 35, commuters were told to expect delays while en route to work.
CARTER CO.: Northbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane and the off-ramp to US-70 (mm 31) is closed in Ardmore, Carter co. due to a crash. Drivers should locate an alternate route or expect significant delays.
