3 dead following 4-vehicle crash near Westbury
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Three people died in a four-vehicle collision on I-40 EB near N Morgan Rd on Friday, according to KOCO.
The collision occurred around 5:15 p.m. At least one of the vehicles involved in the wreck caught fire.
Paramedics pronounced two people dead at the scene. A third person died at an area hospital. Four other victims were treated and released from the hospital.
One of the deceased was a 51-year-old man. Another was a 27-year-old woman. Officials have not released the third deceased person’s name because their next of kin has not been notified.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
