2 hurt following semi vs. auto collision near East Central
TULSA, OK – Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck near I-44 and 129th E Ave NB on Thursday, according to News on 6.
The semi-truck driver was heading south and was about to turn left onto I-44 when an SUV traveling north slammed into it around 5 a.m.
Rescue crews transported two people from the SUV to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The semi-truck’s brake line was broken in the crash causing it to remain at the scene for over an hour. Crews towed away the SUV around 6 a.m.
Emergency crews had the scene cleared by 6:40 a.m.
