1 hurt following traffic accident on US Rt 66 between Luther and Wellston

WELLSTON, OK – According to KOCO, one person was hurt in a crash on U.S. Rt. 66 near 3300 Rd on Monday.

A blue vehicle was involved in the wreck. It had severe damage to its driver’s side and front end. An oil tanker was stopped near the crash. It is unclear if it was involved in the collision.

Emergency crews extricated one person from the blue vehicle. Rescue crews transported the person to an area hospital.

Officials have not released information on the cause of the incident or the condition of those involved.
