1 dead following single-vehicle crash near Stilwell
STILLWELL, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly single-vehicle collision that happened in Stilwell on Thursday, according to FOX 23.
The driver was speeding when they failed to negotiate a curve and hit a culvert. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt. No other passengers were in the vehicle.
Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital, where they died.
It is unclear precisely where in Stilwell the accident occurred.
Officials have not released the driver’s name.
