1 dead, 1 injured following 2-vehicle collision on OK 7 near Hennepin

HENNEPIN, OK – According to KOKH, one person died, and another was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on OK 7, around four miles east of Hennepin on Saturday.

A 21-year-old man was driving a Honda CRV when he rear-ended a Ram pickup truck operated by a 70-year-old man who had stopped in a construction zone around 3:12 p.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the 21-year-old man dead at the scene and transported his 20-year-old female passenger to an area hospital.

The Ram driver was not hurt in the collision.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
