Driver fatally collides with tree on S 4170 Rd near Claremore

ROGERS COUNTY, OK – According to News on 6, a driver died after hitting a tree on S 4170 Rd near E Blue Starr Dr on Tuesday morning.

A 20-year-old woman was driving when she strayed off the right side of the road and slammed into a tree around 11:14 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital, where she died. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
