Troopers investigate fatal road construction accident on Garfield Rd near Beggs

OKMULGEE COUNTY, OK – According to FOX 23, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly road construction accident that occurred on Garfield Rd near US 75 on Wednesday.

A 25-year-old man was operating a tire roller for asphalt when the vehicle rolled over and threw the man from the vehicle before landing on top of him.

The man died in the accident.
