Troopers investigate deadly crash on OK 251A in Cherokee County

CHEROKEE COUNTY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fiery crash that killed one person on OK 251A on the Fort Gibson Dam on Saturday, according to FOX 23.

A driver was heading east on OK 251A when they strayed off the road and hit a dam around 4:30 p.m. The car then caught on fire, killing the driver.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
