Suspect flees scene on foot following 2-vehicle crash in Norman

NORMAN, OK – Police apprehended a suspect after they fled the scene of a two-vehicle collision near W Rock Creek Rd and 60th Ave NW on Sunday, according to KOCO.

The two vehicles collided around 12:30 p.m. Rescue crews transported four people to an area hospital. Two of them were in critical condition, and two were in serious condition.

The driver of one of the vehicles left the scene. Authorities located them later Sunday evening and arrested them.

Following the collision, emergency crews closed the area to process the crash. The area was reopened around 9:50 p.m.
