Driver of stolen car fatally collides with another vehicle in Enid
ENID, OK – A driver died after their vehicle was struck by a teen in a stolen car who was fleeing from police at N 4th St and E Purdue Ave on Thursday, according to KOKH.
Officers saw a stolen vehicle near Jefferson St and Willow Rd around 9:30 a.m. They attempted to pull the car over, but the driver sped off.
The driver of the stolen vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. The other driver died in the wreck. Officials have not released the name of the driver who died.
Rescue crews transported the occupants of the stolen vehicle, three boys and a girl ages 15 and 16, to an area hospital.
Authorities plan to charge the driver and passengers of the stolen vehicle.
