Mechanical malfunction causes fatal motorcycle crash near Bricktown
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to News 9, a motorcyclist died because of a mechanical malfunction while riding on I-40 near I-235 on Monday.
A 53-year-old man was riding a motorcycle west on I-40 when a mechanical malfunction caused him to crash. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle.
Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. He had a head injury.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
