6-year-old girl dies in single-vehicle crash on OK 51 near Stilwell

STILWELL, OK – A six-year-old girl died in a single-vehicle collision on OK 51 near S 4673 Rd on Thursday, according to KTUL.

A 28-year-old woman was driving a 2003 Chevy Tahoe with four children inside when she crashed around 1:10 a.m.

The driver and a 6-year-old girl were ejected from the Tahoe during the wreck.

Rescue crews pronounced the 6-year-old girl dead at the scene and transported the driver and remaining children, ages 2, 7, and 12, to an area hospital.

Nobody in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt except for the 2-year-old in a child restraint.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
