1 dead following 2-vehicle collision near Hennepin

HENNEPIN, OK – One person died in a two-vehicle collision on OK 7, about 4 miles east of Hennepin, on Saturday, according to KOCO.

A 21-year-old man was driving a vehicle east on OK 7 when they collided with a pickup truck hauling a trailer that was stopped at a construction zone around 3:10.

Rescue crews pronounced the 21-year-old man dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt. His passenger was treated and released from the hospital.

The pickup truck driver was not hurt.
