2 dead following crash, hit-and-run on I-44 near Oak Grove

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people died in a wreck and hit-and-run on I-44 near SW 15th St on Tuesday, according to News 9.

A 22-year-old man was driving south on I-44 when he strayed off the road and slammed into a light pole. The driver died in the crash, and the 25-year-old female passenger was pinned inside the car.

A bystander extricated the passenger from the vehicle. The passenger was leaving the scene when they were fatally struck by another car.

The driver who hit the passenger fled the scene.
