1 dead following wrong-way collision on US 177 near Bryars
BRYARS, OK – One person died in a two-vehicle wrong-way collision on US 177 near Bryars on Thursday, according to KOCO.
A 45-year-old man was driving a van north when he strayed into the southbound lanes and slammed into a pickup truck around 10:05 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the 45-year-old man to an area hospital, where he died. They treated the pickup truck driver at the scene.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
