Troopers investigate crash that killed teen on Lone Oak Rd near Indianola

PITTSBURG COUNTY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy on Lone Oak Rd one mile west of Indianola on Tuesday, according to FOX 23.

The boy was driving a pickup truck east on Lone Oak Rd at around 7:56 a.m. when he strayed off the right side of the road. The pickup truck rolled twice and threw the boy from the vehicle.

Rescue crews pronounced the boy dead at the scene. Nobody else was in the truck.
