Troopers investigate deadly single-vehicle crash involving 16-year-old on County Rd D

TEXAS COUNTY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that killed a 16-year-old on County Rd D near Guymon on Sunday.

The 16-year-old was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram west on County Rd D when they swerved to avoid a pothole.

They overcorrected, causing the Ram to slide to the left and go off the roadway. The Ram hit a ditch before going airborne and rolling, ejecting the driver. They were not wearing a seatbelt.
