Person dies over a week following 3-car crash on US 177 near Stillwater

STILLWATER, OK – According to KOKH, a woman died over a week later following a three-car collision on US 177.

A 19-year-old woman was driving a 2008 Lexus north on US 177 when she rear-ended a 2015 GMC operated by a 49-year-old woman who was stopped in traffic to make a left turn on May 25 around 11:30 a.m.

The collision sent the GMC crashing into a southbound 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by a 62-year-old woman.

Emergency crews extricated a 62-year-old woman from the Nissan and transported her to an area hospital with injuries to her lower extremities.

The woman died on Wednesday from her injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. They believe distracted driving caused the crash.
